Accounts Payable and General Ledger Apprentice (12 months)

About the job: Do you like working on a variety of financial topics in parallel, with an international scope?Within our global Finance department you will join a team based in WeWork office in Paris (Saint-Lazare) and report to our amazing APAC/MEA accountant based in Israel. Your scope will include account payable (approximately 75%) and general accounting (25%) for our group's subsidiaries in APAC and MEA region (including Singapore, Japan, South Korea, UAE, Egypt and KSA).

What you'll do :

• Be accountable for purchasing accounting management
• Allocation of supplier invoices to expense accounts using NetSuite software
• Creation and monitoring of virtual payment cards using Spendesk software
• Verification and validation of expenses using Concur software
• Setting up and monitoring payment schedules
• Support of the monthly closing of accounts
• Review of accruals and prepaid expenses during month end
• Checking the New Vendors creation & updates in Ivalua, the new purchasetopay tool
• Book bonus and commissions accrualsThis role implies a collaboration with various departments of the company (budget monitoring, agreement of payment terms, etc.) giving you the possibility to learn, but also develop your network What you'll need to succeed:
• Diploma in accounting from a French College or University
• Understanding of accounting and financial reporting practices in an international environment
• Confirmed Excel skills (xlookup, pivot tables...)
• Proficient in English & French, to be able to exchange with our subsidiaries abroad and our internal teams
• Adaptability, attention to detail, analytical and problemsolving skills
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiatives in a growing environment
• Knowledge of Netsuite/Spendesk/Concur or experience in a shared services center would be a plus
• As this role could evolve into a permanent position, we are looking for a high potential profile, able to easily switch from one financial topic to another, and coordinate several locations in parallel
