Your mission:

As an FPGA developer apprentice at X-Haul, you will contribute to both the evolution of the product's functionality and the development of new HW elements to renew the product's HW platforms.

Within an FPGA project, you will have to deal with the different phases: study and definition of the architecture, design, VHDL coding, simulation, verification through unit and system tests, following the complete project flow, from requirements analysis and feasibility to maintenance.

Main tasks:

Collaborate in the definition of the FPGA architecture, including algorithm modelling
FPGA development, simulation, synthesis, P&R and board integration
Unit testing including FPGA validation on target board
System testing in cooperation with HW Digital, SW and Integration teams
FPGA project reporting and followup
FPGA version management and associated components
Develop automatic test benches for continuous simulation
Contribute to methodology improvement and innovation

Expected skills:

General knowledge of digital electronics
Knowledge of FPGA technology and its development cycle
Competence in VHDL would be a real + and / or Verilog
Ideally a mastery of specific FPGA development tools, such as: Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus, Mentor Graphics suite for

FPGA :
HDL Designer, ModelSim, QuestaSim, Precision

Good written and spoken English
Willing to work in a team
