Job Summary:

Provides full HR support to all legal entities in France together with a small team.

Responsible for important human resources functions that include compensation, benefits, recruitment, employee relations, training, security and compliance/regulatory issues, and negotiation with the works councils.

Advises management on a broad range of issues including HR policies and processes. Identifies HR issues related to short-term and long
- term business plans and objectives; develops and implements initiatives to address those issues. Continually upgrades the organization's capacity to attract, retain and manage the talent it needs to succeed.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage core HR processes for organizational unit, including staffing, performance management, compensation administration, career development, leadership development and succession planning.
  • Contact person and negotiation partner for the local works councils.
  • Monitors developments in social law linked either to the national legislative framework (labor code) or to a collective agreement and which may have an impact on the company.
  • Ensure the implementation and the legal followup of the agreements concluded in alignment with the schedule agreed with the works council.
  • Implement global HR procedures in all French entities and makes sure, that they are followed by local teams; serves as expert on all HR processes for internal client groups.
  • Recruit, interview, test and select Team Members to fill vacant positions. Responsible for the administration of wages; ensure the timely and correct payment thereof.
  • Engage in effective conflict resolution with respect to employee relations and performance management issues.
  • Identify short
- and long-term HR issues related to the organization's objectives and develop and implement initiatives to address those issues.


Education/Experience Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree human resources management, labor relations, law, business administration or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 68 years' experience in a professional human resources management position, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid knowledge of employment and labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, in a matrix organization and teamoriented environment.
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Ability to tolerate ambiguity, handles multiple priorities, and identifies creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Demonstrated history of taking initiative, meeting commitments, and creating new tools or solutions to achieve business results.
  • High level of energy, personal accountability, and integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally SuccessFactors.
