Job Description:

Go-to person for procurement methodology & performance track matters of the Global Category Management organization.

Support procurement and measure its performance maturity by providing structure and enabling Procurement Excellence.

Report directly to SVP, Global Category Management (GCM). Role of Influence within all Corporate category managers (Direct & Indirect).

The
Procurement Process & Performance
Director is globally responsible for:

  • developing & implementing methodology / processes / practices to drive transformation for the Global Category Management department,
- tracking / harmonizing Performance KPIs with dashboards
- leading change management & infusing continuous improvement within the department
- animating internal communication within the global Procurement department
- tracking all Corporate category managers contribution to Process & Performance strategies
- facilitating external communication to promote the department within Procurement teams and other departments.


Procurement Excellence

  • Lead transversal initiatives on Category Management fundamentals: Category Strategy, SRM, Savings/Spend Management,... and ensure adoption from all Corp Category Managers
  • Optimize ways of working between Corporate Category Managers and Hubs
  • Premium, Midscale, Eco / L&L teams
  • Provide methodology (templates, governance, dashboard), ensure followup & adherence of new processes.

Performance measure & follow-up

  • Define, launch & followup Performance KPIs.

Procurement Culture

  • Support organizational Roles & Responsibilities' definition and alignment with other Proc departments in regards of the new organization
  • Define, launch & track governance enabling bestpractices' sharing communication between Category Management & other Procurement teams.

Internal Communication

  • Define an internal communication governance & ensure department knowledge management
  • Organize internal events: Full team meetings, business acumen & teambuilding events.

Qualifications:


Education & Experience

  • MBA / Master Degree in Business, Management; Procurement / Supply Chain specialization desirable.
  • 10 years of professional experience in Procurement and/or Procurement Consulting
  • Both Indirect and Direct Procurement experience
  • Expertise on Change Management / Project Management with a methodology.
  • Process optimization certification (Lean, Six Sigma,)
  • Ability to lead projects & deploy agile approaches
