- Conduct basic research in thermodynamics, including the analysis of heat transfer, energy conversion, and fluid dynamics.
- Drive innovation projects aimed at developing new technologies and methodologies to improve thermodynamic efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and prototype innovative solutions that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Lead experimental investigations and numerical simulations to validate theoretical models and concepts.
- Stay abreast of advancements in thermodynamic theory, regulations, and industry trends to inform research direction and innovation strategy.
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken).
- Demonstrated expertise in thermodynamics, including heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and energy systems.
- Proven track record of conducting basic research and innovation projects in engineering.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in numerical simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL, MATLAB).
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and standards relevant to engineering applications is preferred.
