- Work with Portfolio Managers: Assist in constructing portfolios using detailed risk insights and market considerations.
- Analytical Research for Alpha Generation: Provide research and support using proprietary quantitative data and tools.
- Serve New Product Evaluations: Evaluate investment opportunities, product characteristics, and potential outcomes.
- Offer Investment Oversight: Utilize knowledge of investment processes to challenge expected portfolio behaviors in different market conditions.
- Strong quantitative background, preferably in mathematics, econometrics, or engineering.
- Experience in risk management, portfolio construction, or portfolio management.
- Knowledge of fundamental analysis and equity portfolio characteristics.
- Proficiency in Excel, programming (Python preferred), and market data tools like FactSet/Bloomberg.
- Understanding of derivatives strategies and CFA or equivalent certification desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with a strong organizational mindset.
- Ability to analyze and express views on portfolios and markets based on insights developed.
- Fluency in French and English is a plus.
