    Working as a core member of our France engineering team, you will work on Owner Engineer (OE) or Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) projects for our clients in the offshore renewable and oil and gas sectors. This could include the load-out, transportation and installation of subsea structures and wind farms. Additionally, you will also collaborate on general marine and offshore operations such as vessel inspections.     What you will be doing.

  • Undertake technical document reviews such as vessel surveys, and load-out, transportation and installation calculations.
  • Attend site attendances to undertake owner engineering and / or marine warranty services projects.
  • Handle project management communication with our clients and the management of resources.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with the agreed technical standards and current industry codes and client contract requirements.
  • Propose and develop new business initiatives and assist with the preparation of bids.
  • Collaborate with other businesses and countries in the business regarding operational and specialist matters.
    • The role is based in Paris , France, and you will have the right to work and reside in France. We offer both remote and hybrid working. You will need to be flexible and willing to travel and attend onshore / offshore assignments at short notice both locally and globally.

    What we are looking for.

    Ideally, you will be an experienced Transport and Installation Engineer who has worked on offshore projects in either the renewable or oil and gas sectors. More specifically, we are looking for the following:
  • Educated to degree level in Naval Architecture, Structural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of loadout, installation and transportation methods, codes of practice, rules and guidelines. (DNVGL-ST-N001).
  • Experience at sea (e.g, offshore, quayside or on a vessel) is mandatory.
