- Completing daily hotel rounds to check light bulbs and parkade
- Maintaining the physical appearance and overall condition of all public areas such as lounges, health club, public washrooms, and back of house areas
- Frequent testing of the chemical levels of the pool and whirlpool
- Cleaning pool and whirlpool filters, backwash, and tiles to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Maintaining the physical appearance of the grounds including collecting garbage, plowing and shoveling snow, cutting grass, and pruning shrubbery and trees
- Attending to scheduled room checks and room calls, noting condition of rooms and required repairs
- Assisting with other maintenance tasks as assigned Qualifications
- Plumbing or electrical training is an asset
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Demonstrates a mechanical aptitude
- Keen attention to detail
- Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team Additional Information
