Role:
Lead, Midmarket Business Development EMEA


Location:
Paris, France


For this role, we are looking for a driven and ambitious player-coach to join our team - someone who is passionate about new business sales and mentoring team members to ensure the team's success.


What You'll Do:


  • Manage a team of ambitious Business Development Reps supporting our EMEA Mid-Market sales AEs
  • Responsible for driving Meltwater's revenue growth through consultative sales and acquisition of new business
  • Drive the entire business development process from start to finish from prospecting & opportunity identification, inbound lead qualification, cold calling, pitching, to setting up client meetings for the Sales team
  • Coach and Mentor Business Development Representatives in region
  • Manage a pipeline of inbound and selfsourced leads to identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential prospects
  • Educate and guide prospects through the buyer's journey to help them understand how Meltwater can help drive their business goals and objectives
  • Support the sales organization in meeting (and hopefully exceeding) monthly sales targets

Who You Are:


  • Attained Bachelor's degree (in any specialization)
  • 3+ years of experience in Business or Sales Development Leadership, ideally in the SaaS industry
  • Interest in tech & SaaS / media intelligence as well as coaching a team
  • Prior experience cold calling, inbound lead qualification, booking and conducting software demos, or exposure to sales processes from prospecting to closing of deals
  • Good to have track record of successes and highlights in sales achievements
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Selfmotivated, proactive, and organized with the ability to work under tight deadlines and in a highpressure environment
