ITER is a unique, first of a kind project that aims to demonstrate the technical and scientific feasibility of fusion energy.

Jacobs one of three partners making up the Consortium MOMENTUM (construction management-as-agent contractor) is project managing the construction and assembly of more than one million components in world's largest fusion reactor.

As construction management-as-agent contractor, MOMENTUM is managing the construction and assembly of the first full-scale test reactor to include balance of plant and the Tokomak itself.

Jacobs is recruiting for a junior
Material Controller Engineer (F/H) with
at least 3 years of experience to work on the ITER Project near Aix-en-Provence, France.

He/She will be responsible for:
Takes direction from and interacts directly with the Momentum Materials Manager & Senior Materials Controller.

Actively support and work to embed a safety culture within the project.

Under direction, will gather, review and input data from multiple sources, into the Smart Plant Materials system & various databases within Excel.

This includes but not limited to, converting Materials Data sheets, Packing Lists & Release notes into predefined formats for direct upload into SPMat Traffic & procurement modules.
The maintenance & update of material trackers & graphs used for monthly statistic reporting
Folder maintenance within the project shared drive
On request & under direction, may be required to provide data entry support to the client

To review contractor materials requests prior to issue to the OLC.

This includes but not limited to the review, revision and approval of Contractor materials requests & returns.

Form strong relationships with the CT Const. Teams & nominated contractors.

Focus on delivery, value for money and value creation activities

Here's What You'll Need:

Specific skills**:

High level of operational experience in MS Office software (Excel, Word & Power Point)
Cognisance of different cultural requirements and behaviours
Fluent in English, with additional French preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with creative solution and problem solving skills
