Reporting directly to the finance Manager in France, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting aspects of the agency, while contributing to its financial health.

You are a proactive, detail-obsessed professional with a knack for transforming spreadsheets into symphonies and turning balance sheets into ballads.

You are comfortable working as part of a team and have a knack for developing strong relationships internally across brand teams and departments, as well as externally with clients and other key stakeholders.


What
you'll be doing

  • Manage all accounting operations of the agency, including general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury under the supervision of the Finance Manager France.
  • Verify and coordinate the activities of the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance of financial data.
  • Perform monitoring and management of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closures, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Use Sage 100 software to perform accounting tasks and ensure data accuracy.
  • Contribute to the optimization of accounting processes and continuous improvement of financial systems.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Must haves

  • Fluency in spoken and written
    French and English (No scrambled oeufs at
    egg, svp.)
  • University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar position, ideally within an event agency.
  • Knowledge of Sage 100 and excellent proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues from different departments.
  • Detailed oriented and passionate about financial rigorousness

Nice to haves

  • Knowledge of the marketing communication and events sector would be a major asset
