    Job Description

    The Commis Chef will support the other Chefs as assigned in all areas of the Kitchen.

  • Prepare, season, and cook food as directed, meeting special dietary instructions as required.
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
  • Provide direction to lower levelled Commis Chefs as assigned.
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Clean and maintain assigned station and overall kitchen through practicing good safety and sanitation.
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
  • Qualifications
  • Culinary degree and experience in a high volume kitchen environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid food handler certificate
