SOFTWARE DESIGNER - Autonomous Train (F/M/X)

Villeurbanne (6- France)

MISSIONS
Join our team in the Innovation Center in Villeurbanne developping solutions on Autonomous Train.

We are searching for a talented Software Developper for our Obstacle Detection System (ODS) program within a lean startup pathway and in collaboration with engineering, software & mobility experts in an international environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsibilities

Gather obstacle detection use cases, identify and detail requirements for each use case
Design technical solution for productiongrade, including the implementation into the most appropriate hardware
Participated to laboratory and onsite testing of a Proof of Concept on a real train

COMPETENCIES

Engineering or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, telecommunications or industrial engineering, ideally in Computer Vision or Machine Learning or Applied Mathematics, Statistics
Extensive knowledge of software development, in Python and C++
Knowledge of optimization algorithms and inference techniques for CV, symbolic computing
Capacity in working in a changing environment with uncertainty
Fluent in both French and English
