We are now recruiting a Data Lead, reporting to the Business Technology Solutions Director for our French Affiliate team.


Who are you ?


You have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience, and at least 10 years of experience in internal/external IT.


You also have the following:
Knowledge and Skills

  • Successful experience in leading various data projects and/or in business/IT data consulting/management roles.
  • Experience in transversal management and vendor management (incl. agencies).
  • Solid experience in working with Global teams in a Matrix environment.
  • Deep understanding of the affiliate business model and strategy:
  • Industry & external perspective
  • Influencing & relationship building across departments and organizations
  • Technical expertise on Data management, Data transformation, Data visualization, Business Analytics.
  • Knowledge/expertise specifically of QlikSense, Informatica, Palantir is a real plus.
  • Experience in transversal management and vendor management (incl. agencies).
  • Fluent French and English.

By integrating AbbVie as Data Lead, France, you will help us to spark insights that improve peoples' lives by offering thoughtful analysis, meaningful insights, and practical & innovative technology solutions.

Within this context, your principal responsibilities will be to:

  • Drive with affiliate, regional (Area) and global partners innovative industry-leading technology, data, and analytics capabilities, while strengthening the data-driven culture and operating model, to enable strategic customer-facing capabilities.
  • Lead a team of Data BTS resources (Data Architect, Data Engineers & Visualization experts) focused on delivering strategic data solutions, in partnership with Customer Excellence (CEX), to all brands/departments within AbbVie France.
  • Define the best organization with local/area/global resources to fulfil local/area/global needs & strategy.
  • Act as the Affiliate lead for data innovation and dataled design, identifying with Customer Excellence innovative data analytics use cases to create high quality data products that provide tangible benefits for the Affiliate.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and peers to identify and assess the implications of emerging technologies across AbbVie activities and building a longterm data roadmap for the business, feeding the omnicanal strategy.
  • Act as the strategic interface between Affiliate CEX partners, other affiliate teams (Brands, support functions) and Global Winning With Data (WWD) and InField Team (IFT) & HealthCare Professional (HCP) Capability Towers.
  • Own, facilitate, and serve as a lead, for the planning and execution of initiatives in the affiliate and in coordination with Global & WEC BTS teams to enable the organization to achieve objectives through the effective use of Data tools and services
  • Communicate decisions, priorities, and relevant project information to appropriate stakeholders regarding service requests, projects and initiatives.
  • Proactively serve as a "trusted advisor" as well as an "architect of value," functioning as a key point of contact for any topic related to data technology within the affiliate.
  • Bring innovative insights of managing data through external insights & partnerships, feeding the global WWD strategy.
