Who are we ?


The creation of Volta Medical follows the discovery of a new complex medical procedure to treat atrial fibrillation (the most common cardiac arrhythmia in the world) by the company's founders, world experts in interventional rhythmology and intracardiac signal analysis.


Volta Medical is an innovative start-up based in Marseille, whose goal is to provide a range of artificial intelligence-based products to guide the cardiologist during ablation-type procedures.


We started this adventure 7 years ago and our team now has nearly 90 employees in France, Germany and the United States We completed a $27 million Series A round in November 2020 and a $36 million Series B round in January 2023.

Missions:


  • As Volta pursuing its growth, you will support Volta teams in the future mass production challenges. Among system team you will play a major role in supporting teams for improving system performance and reliability.

You will play an active role by performing:

  • Investigations and failure analysis, based on field report and proposals of HW and SW resolutions.
  • Contribution to HW architecture, definition and component selection.
  • Improvement of system diagnostic tools.
  • Improvement of engineering, production and service test coverage.
  • Design verification and HW tests.
  • Tests and product certification with external labs.
  • Improvement of system reliability

Profile:


  • You have graduated from a master's engineering
  • You have 5 years of experience in the field of medical devices or other complex industrial environments (automotive, aerospace, microelectronic, EMS )
  • You are knowledgeable on PCs functional and industrial
  • You have experience with signal analysis, processing and digitization
  • You are knowledgeable of SW development: Linux environment, Typescript, Kotlin, C/C++ and Python languages
  • You are proficient with AMDEC/FMEA or FIDES method
  • You are knowledgeable of IEC
  • You are are fluent in both French and English
