Job Description:

The Workplace Technology team provides the technology that powers Mangopay employees globally and continuously.

We are passionate about enabling our colleagues to communicate, collaborate and work effectively; and Workplace Technology provides the tools, systems and services that make that happen.


As the leader of the Workplace Tech function, you'll have end to end ownership of the vision, strategy, plans and execution.

As part of the wider Tech Team, the Workplace Technology team design, develop, implement and operate all Identity and Collaboration services to power company staff in office or remotely.

You'll be based in Paris, London or Dublin, reporting to the CTO.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provisioning the strategy, goals and objectives for the function
  • Managing the department's portfolio: tracking performance, facilitating progress, planning, and coordinating work.
  • Managing company IT assets: ordering, maintaining stock, issuing to users and tracking.
  • Managing relationships with 3rd party vendors.
  • Maintaining offices' IT infrastructure, ranging from Wifi to server installations, telephony and video conference equipment, to SaaS services.
  • Provisioning and owning the budget for the function.
  • Developing, training and supporting your team.
  • Developing and improving processes to achieve service level requirements and efficiency.
  • Continue building the team and growing alongside company growth.

Qualifications:


  • At least 3 years of experience as Workplace Tech Manager (managing teams of 7+ people).
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and desire to take ownership of what you do.
  • Understanding of all relevant industry standards.
  • Understanding of best practices for service management.
  • Experience and understanding in security compliance and standards.
  • Advanced level of security awareness and experience with maintaining related tooling (endpoint agents, user disk encryption, personal firewalls).
  • Solid technical background.
