We are looking for a Trainee - Deputy Program Purchasing Leader Zero Emission to join our team

Our activity is looking for a
Trainee - Deputy Program Purchasing Leader Zero Emission for its R&D Center based in Bavans (30 min from Belfort; 15 min from Monbéliard; near Switzerland).

The Center R&D from Bavans, with close to 1000 collaborators, develop innovative solutions for sustainable and clean mobility. It is Forvia's global center of expertise on hydrogen storage systems.

Internship duration 6 months, from January 2023.

As Deputy Program Purchasing Leader you will work closely with the program teams, family buyers and suppliers.

You will be working on challenges that matter

Your missions:
1.

RFQ Process & supplier nomination:

Selection of suppliers in agreement with the family buyers
Launching of calls for tender
Technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers
Leads the supplier nomination process

Development & program execution:

Followup of the development schedule and ensure supplier deliveries
Achievement of quality objectives by suppliers
Implementation of specific program contracts
Ensure the rampup before the launch and transfer to serial production

Management of program purchasing performance:

Process, supplier strategy
OTD performance (program milestones)
Economic performance

What if it were you?

You have a final year Baccalaureate +5 or Baccalaureate +4 with the possibility of doing a sandwich course afterwards (with a specialization in purchasing)
You are at ease in English
Ready to learn the business in a pragmatic way
Openminded, proactive and autonomous
Good communicator, good listener, with an analytical mind
Able to bring a "fresh look" to the functioning of an organization
Experienced in international experiences
Able to evolve within a matrix organization
Resilient, calm but dynamic and agile
