It is central IT team in cooperation with multiple business units. P roviding APIs for B2B customers and partners all around the world . C overing areas of pricing, customer, product details, order management plus 3rd party integrations.
In a near future, the company will start a new e-commerce platform based on our solutions. In this context we want to improve the reliability of our delivery.
The team you would join is a Java dev team with great quality standards such as test driven development, code reviews or peer tests.
You will be great fit to the team if you have:Hands-on experience in business acceptance testing, API testing, functional testing, non-regression testing Experience in Cucumber, jUnit Good understanding of CI/CD concepts (preferably with Jenkins) Experience in working with cloud solutions (preferably Kubernetes) Hands-on experience of working in Agile environment and scrum team Ability to work as QA automation engineer in cross-functional scrum team, as well as being a part of QA automation community Good knowledge on SQL and NoSQL databases (preferably Oracle and MongoDB) Understanding in messaging-oriented middleware (Apache Kafka) Fluent English in speaking and writing Optional Skills
Experience in performance testing (K6) Familiarity with tools like Maven, Docker Good knowledge of at least 1 OOP language (preferably Java 8+) in context of writing test cases and extending test frameworks You will do
Actively analyse and improve user stories Build a test approach inside the system in cooperation with the development team and other Test Engineers Prepare test plans and test scenarios Design, build and maintain automated tests Reduce the backlog of manual regression tests Perform manual and exploratory testing in the areas where there is an absence of any automation Participate in Agile and Scrum process You will work in hybrid work model in Marly, Valenciennes , France #LI-Hybrid
