The creation of Volta Medical follows the discovery of a new complex medical procedure to treat atrial fibrillation (the most common cardiac arrhythmia in the world) by the company's founders, world experts in interventional rhythmology and intracardiac signal analysis.


Volta Medical is an innovative start-up based in Marseille, whose goal is to provide a range of artificial intelligence-based products to guide the cardiologist during ablation-type procedures.


We started this adventure 7 years ago and our team now has nearly 90 employees in France, Germany and the United States We completed a $27 million Series A round in November 2020 and a $36 million Series B round in January 2023.

Missions:


  • The position will report to the Senior Vice-President of Clinical, Quality & Regulatory Affairs. We are looking for a Clinical Data Analyst to be part of our Clinical team.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to develop objectives, sampling estimation, randomization, and statistical analysis plans to achieve study objectives.
  • Contribute to the study design and the establishment of electronic Case Report Form (eCRF) specifications.
  • Manage databases and perform data analysis as a key responsibility.
  • Create programs for data extraction and manipulation from eCRFs.
  • Develop effective programs for data analysis.
  • Design macros to streamline data extraction, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Summarize results and communicate findings.
  • Deliver statistical analysis outcomes, tables, and graphical representations for internal meetings, peerreviewed publications, and presentations at international conferences.
  • Adhere to all regulations and protocols to prevent any breaches of data security and privacy laws.

Profile:


  • You have a PhD or Master's Degree in one of the following fields: public health, biostatistics, health informatics, environmental science, or epidemiology, and you have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • You demonstrate expertise in clinical data management and analysis.
  • You are proficient in biostatistics for clinical trials.
  • You are proficient in advanced data manipulation techniques in Excel, as well as proficient in statistical software programs such as SAS, and/or other tools like Macro, Stata, SQL, R, or Python.
  • You excel in communication, conveying complex ideas clearly in both written and spoken forms to various audiences.
  • You are strongly dedicated to rigorous research methods, emphasizing objectivity and the accuracy of findings, while ensuring the reproducibility of results.
  • You possess robust analytical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail and adept problemsolving capabilities.
