- Drive talent development within the designated market through succession planning and personal development plans.
- Lead the sales team, set goals, and conduct performance reviews.
- Act as coach and trainer to upgrade the team's skill set.
- Ensure excellence in project and opportunity management using the Focus-Plan-Do-Review principle.
- Serve as key contact for selected customers and internal stakeholders on pricing, projects, and raw material changes.
- Maintain transparent communication internally and externally through regular updates.
- Build strong networks with account managers and regional/global teams.
- Ensure high visibility with customers and involve senior management when needed.
- Drive business development and monitor revenue, gross profitability, and profit contribution against targets.
- Track monthly sales and gross profit, implementing corrective actions promptly.
- Own market pricing strategy and align with business units and RGM teams.
- Act as primary source for capability and core listing exercises within the market.
- Develop and implement market strategy to drive growth and anticipate market trends.
- Ensure compliance with Symrise corporate governance and Food & Beverages business model.
- Promote ethical behaviour internally and externally.
- Reinforce Value Selling principles by leveraging market insights and Symrise capabilities to create unique customer propositions.
- Oversee customer development plans, budgeting, forecasting, and project pipeline management to maximise growth.

Your Role - Key Responsibilities

About You
You bring over 10 years of commercial experience in the international Food & Beverage industry, ideally within ingredients such as flavours or naturals, supported by a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field. A proven people leader, you combine strong commercial acumen with a strategic mindset and solid technical understanding of products, markets, and customer needs.
With an established network in the food & beverage ingredients sector, you are a confident communicator and negotiator, experienced in project management and comfortable working with tools such as Microsoft Office, SAP, EIS, and CX. Fluent in French and English, you thrive in an international, customer-facing environment.
