Competitive Salary + Benefits PackageWe are working alongside an established Fine Art Shipping company based in Paris who are looking to bring on an enthusiastic Transport Manager

Key responsibilities:

Complete responsibility for the transport crew and vehicle fleet.
Manage and plan all transport routes for the fleet, at the most cost effective price.
Manage deliveries, customer pickups and packing services.
Schedule all transportation and correctly produce operational reports and detailed records of drivers and trucks.
Dealing with expenses, budgeting and making sure all vehicles are road safe.
Handle all vehicle insurance, including finding the best prices, handling claims and dealing with any issues that arise.
Keep up to date with all changes of the EU legislations.
Liaising between both clients and suppliers to solve any difficulties.
Ensure the company has all legal memberships for vehicles to be on the road.
Brief all drivers and porters on tasks they have been set.
Occasional site and customer visits.

Requirements:

Previous background within the art shipping or international removals industry.
Experience coordinating transport, route planning and fleet maintenance.
A thorough knowledge of industry guidelines for handling, packaging, transporting, and installing goods.
Comfortable building and maintaining relationships with professionals, colleagues and clients.
Advantageous if the applicant can demonstrate a good knowledge of EU transport regulation.
Excellent communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office based software is required.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
