Job Description:We are looking for a Team Manager with Backend expertise to support and grow a team of talented Backend engineers.
What you will do:
- Inspire, drive and develop a motivated team of backend engineers
- Design and build new features at scale such as live streaming, community groups
- Add, improve and maintain APIs shared across all Deezer apps through GraphQL
- Ensure that all written code and architecture is high quality, scalable, performant and monitored
- Become part of a crossfunctional team of engineers (Backend but also iOS, Android, Web and QA), designers and product managers
- Contribute to the Community of Practice to improve Deezer backend stack

- A first experience in people management (internship, apprenticeship, mentor
- ship, team manager)
- Proven experience in understanding, building, and maintaining large and complex code bases in production
- A mindset focused on simple & effective architecture with high quality and scalable code
