Global Unilever Business Analyst - Your future position?


As Unilever Business Analyst in our Fragrance & Beauty Division based in Argenteuil, you will lead all commercial business performance monitoring, conduct business planning and act as strategic partner, co-pilot of the Unilever World Account Manager (WAM) & Unilever sales team around the world in all aspects of Pricing and Controlling.

Reporting to the Consumer Products BU Controller, you will have the opportunity to actively interact with all the cross-functional key stakeholders in the controlling, pricing, sales & finance departments globally and in all regions.

In this exciting role you will:

  • Business Performance Monitoring


You will ensure that monthly performance is properly monitored through commenting and analyzing the monthly reporting package prepared by our global reporting center containing Sales, Margin analysis and overall business performance KPI's (projects pipeline, win rate, opex ).

You will ensure data integrity and consistency, analyze and investigate variances, re-port discrepancies and highlight issues through ad-hoc analysis to plan corrective actions.

You will coordinate the yearly review of the market potentials and monitor Givaudan's Unilever performance within the industry. As a member of the Uni-lever management team contribute to the achievement of the Targets for the Account.

  • Business Planning


You will prepare sales forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly); drive the sales budget process for the account across all re-gions; prepare on a yearly basis an update of the 5-year business plan of the Unilever Global Account; and prepare any ad hoc financial & business analysis.


  • Strategic Partner


Partner with Unilever WAM & Global Brand Directors (GBDs) for decisions on all aspects of the business including rebates, discounts, resources allocations, client requests.

Ensure pricing strategy for the account globally to maintain business health, preserve and improve the account profitability.

  • Functional excellence


Be a pragmatic co-pilot to the WAM & Unilever Management team in order to drive performance and results for the entire account.

Execute analysis and reports in line with the Division Controlling guidance. Coordinate functional related activities in order to ensure accuracy and robustness of the monthly closing process. Ensure data integrity and consistency with sys-tems requirements.

Your professional profile includes:


  • Master Degree in Economy, Finance, Engineering or Business
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Controlling, Pricing, Finance or Business consulting ideally in Fragrances & Flavours, food or chemical industry in an international context
  • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills, rigorous, pragmatic, reliable & service oriented, ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Sociability, effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, team spirit, flexibility & agility, strategic mindset, ability to drive change & initiatives,
  • Business acumen, agility to learn, curiosity and high interest for the Fragrance Industry
  • Fluency in English is a must, Knowledge of French a plus
  • IT literate of current business tools, at ease with BI tools & master data systems (advanced Excel/BI skills/PPT)
