We are looking for a Space Transportation Infrastructure Project Manager to work at ESA's HQ premises in the city of Paris, France.
Tasks and Activities:
The scope of work will include:
- Support STS-IVI in the correct implementation and follow-up of Extraordinary Maintenance activities on manufacturing facilities in Europe in the frame of Ariane 5, Ariane 6, Vega and Vega C.
- Support STS-IVI in implementing the new Fixed asset management governance and its associated tool.
- Support STS-IVI in the Dismantling of Ariane 5 and Vega Fixed assets not reused in Ariane 6 and/or Vega C.
- Support STS-IVI in the Identification and Implementation of state of the art, Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence, machine learning concepts to be applied on ESA and Arianespace owned Fixed Assets.
- Support the digital transformation and change management project.
- Support the Ariane 6 transition and exploitation activities, in particular the understanding of manufacturing processes through the supply chain, creating and delivering reports and support on creation of documentation.
Skills and Experience:
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
- PhD or Msc Engineering from a recognized Institution of secondary studies (University, Ecole supérieure, etc.) or equivalent with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of the Space sector and its organization.
- Knowledge of industrial cost and schedule aspects.
- Knowledge of other technical domains with interfaces to own area of responsibility.
- Knowledge/Expertise of (serial) production and operations in an industrial setting.
- Excellent reporting and communication skills.
- Understanding of complex systems.
- Knowledge of agile methods.
- Knowledge of industry 4.0, artificial intelligence technologies.
