Norgine are recruiting for an *Associate Director of IT Engagement to have responsibility to run a professional business partnership. Understanding the business needs to meet strategic objectives and how technology can support them. Technology as an enabler.

You will act as the Bridge (IT representative) between Business Capabilities within the Manufacturing side and Technology Capabilities.

As AD of IT Engagement/Product Owner, you will be accountable for defining the Business Capabilities to meet the Vision of the Business Unit you support.

Understanding the Business needs and working closely with the Business Analyst team to document these needs. Your road maps and requirements will influence the direction of the Technology Capabilities. You will have experience of managing and prioritising product/project backlog based on market and customer's needs.

This role can be based in either Hengoed, Wales,UK or Dreux, France.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable to influence how Business requirements can be delivered to maximise the investment delivered via Norgine platforms.
  • Accountable to minimise spot solutions and Technology creep.
  • Accountable to influence how Business requirements can be delivered to maximise the investment delivered via Norgine platforms.
  • Accountable for leading all IT/Digital/Data/Automation changes and products for your Business function from the Business perspective. You create, manage and prioritise the backlog of change, enhancement and useability improvement requests.
  • You will be accountable for aligning the needs of the Business to the Technical capabilities of the invested IT platforms
  • You will recognise and record opportunities for the Business from Organisational and Technological change and define change opportunities. You'll ensure that Business benefits are clearly defined, appropriately quantified and managed through to realisation.
  • Creation of strong business cases to deliver Technological changes for Business requirements. You will present these for approval, and you will advise and influence executive management throughout the business change lifecycle, ensuring that change initiatives are aligned with the strategy and enterprise architecture.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in a matrixmanagement environment (as well as external vendors and service providers) to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical people to enhance understanding and drive decisions that lead to positive outcomes.
