Information Technology (DIT) with a clear vision and strategy? Would you like to play an active and crucial role in improving the
end-user experiences, usability and accessibility of the services delivered by collaborating closely with the Chief Information
Officer (CIO), the IT Communications Manager, the project development teams and the operations team? Do you have the

Your role
As a UI/UX Designer, you will:
collaborate with the development teams to understand and address end-user needs and goals;
conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gain insights into user behaviour and preferences;
design and create product prototypes, build storyboards and wireframes to conceptualise designs to validate and refine
user experiences, and accurately convey project plans to clients and senior management;

work closely with the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the IT Communications Manager, and the project and operational
teams;
under the direction of the CIO, and in collaboration with the IT Communications Manager, produce visual communication
materials for the DIT, design professional reports and promotional material, including videos for the DIT, to enhance the
communication and image of the Directorate;
stay updated with the latest developments and trends in UI and UX design to establish the best overall design elements
to include in UX design experiences;
ensure visual consistency of the DIT, especially with stakeholders involved in interface creation, functional experiences,
and communication elements (e.g., video);
create surveys for research through various media platforms to gather feedback on users' ease of use and satisfaction
interfacing on company websites and products and organise test workshops with users; analyse customer responses
and website data to examine high-traffic web pages and determine why specific webpages perform better;
design the aesthetics to be implemented within a website or product;
combine interface design concepts with digital design and establish milestones to encourage cooperation and
teamwork;
provide regular reports on work progress and prioritise tasks.
What we are looking for
You must:
hold a completed full course of general secondary education and appropriate professional qualifications in a relevant
field (e.g. Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Web Development, or a related field);
have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in creating and implementing UI/UX design;
have a very good knowledge of one of the

- strong and proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design
expertise;
- capacity to deliver professional, high quality and user-friendly designs;
- proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar;
- solid understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies;
- experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and analysis;
- knowledge of current design strategy and technologies;
- up-to-date knowledge of UI and UX trends, techniques, and best practices;
- excellent visual design skills and the ability to produce high-quality visual communication materials;
