    Job Purpose:


    As an Associate Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and tax needs for our clients, partnering with them to ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date, compliant with local laws and regulations.

    You will work alongside a senior member of the team who will also support your growth at TMF, reporting directly to the Accounting&Tax Supervisor.

    Key Responsibilities
    Maintain the portfolio of the assigned clients- with different levels of autonomy depending on the files' complexity (under supervision)
    Monitoring of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank, lettering, payroll, entries
    Preparation of tax returns autonomously
    Monthly and annual closing transactions;preparation of annual financial statements and tax packages
    Setting up monthly and quarterly reports with different levels of autonomy depending on the files' complexity (under supervision)
    About you
    Degree in Accounting, Audit (BTS, DCG, DSCG, Master CCA or equivalents), or a comparable level achieved through exposure and experience
    At least 3 years of experience preferably in similar companies / BPOs
    Intermediate knowledge of English written and spoken (B2)
    Proficient user of MS Office package
    Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for companies in France (statutory deadlines, tax laws, regulations, etc.)

    Knowledge of at least one accounting software:
    SAGE, CEGID Loop, Yooz or equivalent, Netsuite, or SAP is a plus, Enate Suit, ORACLE, Blackline, Workday, Yardi Voyager
    Highly responsible and organized person with good communication skills and a problem-solving attitude
