• Measuring technology shocks by collecting and scoring 821 events representing automation and digitalization in 51-5digit NAF industries from newspapers like Les Echos, Le Monde and Le Figaro.
• Analysed 2-year data of 105 metropolitans including regressions on working hours and industry shares  
• Found that: 1. Half original manufacturing workers moved to suburbs to work in service industry. 2. Shocked service barely grew in centers. 3. Small cities declined more than big cities, especially in shocked service
