    The Prevention & Advisory Manager reports to the Senior Prevention & Advisory Manager, assisting in global compliance Prevention and Advisory activities for the Allianz Trade Group and Euler Hermes SA operating as Allianz Trade.

    This role is based in Paris, and other European locations can be considered.

    Key Responsibilities / What you do:

    • Compliance framework: supporting the continual development and integration of compliance areas for:

    1) Regulatory Compliance: overseeing both horizontal and vertical aspects, facilitating communication and training for Regional Compliance Officers regarding the upcoming Regulatory Compliance Tool set to launch by the end of Q1 2024, and conducting continuous monitoring of its efficacy at Regional and Local levels by Compliance and the 1st line functions

    2) Ensuring full implementation of Anti-Financial Crime, Customer Protection, and Market Integrity Standards and Functional Rules (where applicable) across all Allianz Trade regions, and fostering comprehensive knowledge and awareness within Allianz Trade Group Functions, including Group Commercial. Supporting the role of Anti-Fraud Coordinator as outlined in the Anti-Financial Crime Functional Rule

    3) Fitness & Probity: backing ongoing compliance with regulatory and Allianz Trade Group stipulations regarding Fitness and Probity

    4) Providing support in other relevant areas (e.g., ESG, Tax, HR, IT)

    • Definition and update of core internal standards, functional rules

    1) Assisting the Senior Prevention & Advisory Manager in monitoring changes in Allianz group requirements and pertinent international laws and regulations

    2) Ensuring alignment with relevant functions within Allianz Trade Group

    3) Developing global implementation packages for new requirements

    • Regulatory Compliance: tracking new regulatory developments (laws, regulations, circulars)

    1) Participating in the definition and analysis of regulatory frameworks, including horizontal and vertical oversight requirements

    2) Monitoring changes in EU and Belgian regulations

    3) Globally tracking alterations in local regulations

    4) Evaluating from a risk & control standpoint

    5) Collaborating with key functions within Allianz Trade Group

    6) Defining internal standards

    7) Managing regulation processes: assigning 1st line of defense responsibilities, implementation streams along with owners, and ensuring follow-up.

    Key Requirements / What you bring

    • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the financial sector within a compliance role or regulatory enforcement;
    • Solid comprehension of the insurance industry, and preferably of Allianz Trade/credit insurance;
    • Critical understanding of relevant risks and controls;
    • Client-centric mindset, with a focus on quality and results;
    • Capability to work autonomously, delivering coherent decisions / results and collaborating with virtual teams;
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills, and adeptness at functioning as part of a team;
    • Strong organizational abilities, adaptability, and prioritization skills;
    • Proficiency in English (both verbal and written);
    • Rigorous and methodical approach, along with a practical outlook for applying concepts;
    • Leadership prowess and effectiveness in remote work scenarios;
    • Degree in business, economics, or law;
    • Completion of professional development training;
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage comfortably with individuals at all organizational levels, including top management, within an international setting;
    • Diplomatic sensitivity and adeptness at managing multiple stakeholders;
    • Project management capabilities and the capacity to oversee multiple projects concurrently;
    • High level of integrity;
    • Experience in change management and fostering innovation with a hands-on attitude.
