We are looking for our new Product Design Engineer Senior, in this role, you will design, develop, build products and managa a junior collaborator.

You are leading the early stages of the product design.

With a particular attention at offering the best user experience in the products, you design the product structure, features of the product, mechanical solutions, and prototypes.

Main missions

Within the product team, starting from the concept phase, the Product Design Engineer Senior is in charge of exploring, designing and developing whole or parts of the acoustics booth products.

You support the project until the industrialization phase, leading aspects of functionality, price, and quality of the solutions and products developed.

Product Design Engineer duties:

With respect of to the product vision and product roadmap, you
drives design strategies to innovate and develop solutions that will maximize the user experience.
You
develop solutions with respect of a price target, and with a particular aim to provide to the user the best experience possible ;
You
design in 3D (CAD) the concepts and
prototypes them ;
You
define the product costs and schedules and monitor them ;
You partner with a product or program manager who ensures the project is well aligned within the product roadmap and product range objectives ;
You establish
product specifications and requirements, which defines the development process ;
You write
a Quality plan to ensure you are in full alignment with the usage and conform to the different countries regulations ;
You ensure a
seamless transmission to operations team during industrialization phase of the product, support suppliers sourcing and qualification ;
You are regularly involved in the
continuous improvement of your product scope.
You are a team leader and a team player, developing products thanks to your skills, knowhow but also integrating experts in the development process (management, designers, product team, operation team, program management, suppliers ).
You manage directly a
Junior product engineer, by elevating him to high standards.

Profil recherché
With an engineering or industrial design background, you are passionate about products.

You have a minimum of 5 years experience and a track record of leading development of innovative hardware products, ideally in a furniture industry.

fluent in French and in English, written and spoken.

Package & benefits:

Global package: 50K-60K€ + BSPCE

Fixed-price day contract + RTT

2 teleworking days / week
