- Contribute to the development of the overall R&D project strategy, by providing the framework of project management best practices
- Ensure the evaluation, implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the development plan for projects (internal projects or external evaluations)
- Establish, coordinate, and monitor internal initiatives in the Project Portfolio Direction to ensure operational excellence in project execution in terms of cost/quality/timeliness compliance
- Evaluate the scientific, regulatory, legal, technical, economic, and industrial feasibility of projects, in relation to the relevant Departments based on the defined development strategy
- Facilitate, coordinate, and ensure the optimal functioning of the Project Teams and lead the implementation of development plans in relation to the Project Team members in line with the defined development strategy
- Ensure optimal progress (deliverables/resources/external costs) of Projects in collaboration with project planning and the various Departments involved
- Develop, propose risk contingency plans and issue resolution plans for issues encountered during development
- Develop and implement best project management practices to ensure operational excellence in project execution in terms of quality, timeliness adherence, and costs

Your Mission
Within the Project Management Office department of the Medical Direction & Consumer Patient Relations, Pierre Fabre Group is looking for its next Development Project Director (F/M).
Your mission: contribute to the development of the overall strategy of the project portfolio and ensure the evaluation, implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the development plan for these projects.
The Development Project Director (from phase I) will be responsible for managing Development projects in the oncology field, in particular. Oncology is a major priority for Pierre Fabre Group.
Currently, the Oncology pipeline includes Life Cycle Management projects on mature Rx products already registered, as well as new projects resulting from partnerships. It will continue to expand through internal Research as well as new partnerships.
New territories are also to be developed (China and the USA in particular) in line with the company's strategic vision.
The Project Director may also be required to manage other projects outside oncology, such as dermatology or rare diseases, depending on opportunities or company strategic directions.

Higher scientific studies (PhD)
Experience (minimum 2 years) in project management in drug development

The position is based at Oncopole, in Toulouse, but it can also be located in Boulogne.
