Why do we need you ?


Under the direction of the DOSM and the supervision of the Meetings & Events Executive, we will need you to convert group requests and offer a professional and personalized service to guarantee the satisfaction of our customers during their events, from start to finish.


Daily, you will:


  • Be responsible for customer loyalty by ensuring their satisfaction during all stages of the stay from reservation to billing
  • Organize and conduct hotel tours to build customers confidence about their upcoming events
  • Oversee the organization of the event from arrival to departure, providing consistent and outstanding customer service
  • Actively participate in all internal meetings to ensure the smooth running of events
  • Ensure the successful operations of catering functions with a handson approach
  • Understand the overall market competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and know how to stand out from the competition
  • Respond in a personalized and timely manner to new groups requests

You're the ideal person if you have/are:

  • 3-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration or Hotel Management
  • Previous experience at a Marriott hotel in a group/event department is a plus
  • Strong Knowledge and understanding of sales tools and systems (Opera ) required
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management: ability to organize work and manage priorities
  • Strong Team spirit
