Within our global Finance department and reporting to the Senior Finance Accounting Manager, you will join a team based in the WeWork office in Paris (Saint-Lazare).
The Financial Controller role represents an excellent opportunity to gain experience and make an impact in many aspects of the finance department in a rapidly growing global high-tech company.
What you'll do: Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (IFRS & local GAAP)Work with subsidiaries across the world to provide guidance on issues arising from financial information, accounting, and tax Develop, document, and enforce compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Financial planning and day-to-day management Manage relationships and budgets of external service providers including tax, audit, and banking Work with various interfaces within the finance (treasury, taxes FP&A), corporate, and other departments Work with external auditors/advisors on audit, accounting, and other financial matters Support period-end close process Support ad hoc accounting and finance-related projects as needed Manage a team of 1-2 bookkeepers (in Israel and Paris)
What you'll need to succeed: Diploma in accounting from a French College or University (DSCG is a plus) At least 3 years of experience as Assistant Controller / Controller in a global company or in the Big 4 Excellent OfficeSuite skills - Must NetSuite Oracle experience - Advantage Proficient in written and spoken English to be able to exchange with our subsidiaries abroad and our internal teams Understanding of accounting and financial reporting practices in an international environment Highly motivated, independent thinker with the ability to effectively prioritize in a dynamic environment Hands-on approach, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills Excellent analytical and communication skillsAs we are working in a very evolutive environment, we are looking for a high-potential profile, able to easily switch from one financial topic to another, and coordinate several locations in parallel.
