    Sr. Director/VP Engineering @ Paris, France

    Position Summary
    This position is for senior director or VP Engineering with a broad experience in hands-on technical engineering leadership including
    management of the project and team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the output of the HW/SW/FW/Test
    engineering teams based in the Paris office of NextNav towards innovative products in the location space. The candidate will also
    work with product management on product definition and program management on schedule planning/execution.

    Responsibilities
    Responsible for delivery of solutions from the France engineering team
    Manage team of diverse engineers from HW/SW/Algorithm/Test team to deliver prototype/product solution
    Should be able to work hands-on with the team, provide them directions to enable effective product impact
    Interact with the executive team in providing periodic updates
    Interface with program management to estimate/manage tasks/schedules for internal and external deliverables
    Skills & Experience
    ~ A minimum of 10 years experience with at least a few complete product design lifecycle exposure (from initial board design

    to final integration in product)
    ~ Very hands-on, with strong analytical and experimental problem-solving skills, ability to learn to troubleshoot complex sys- tems in algorithms, HW or SW
    ~ Candidate should have experience having worked with teams across HW (semiconductor/FPGA with some exposure to

    memory/MIPS), SW (platform/box SW, for example, on ARM/Intel/NXP processor platforms running Linux or equivalent,
    phone/cloud experience not required) to deliver products, with specific experience in one or more of the above areas.

    ~ Should be able to work with team members across these domains, work with product/program management for plan- ning/scheduling in order to deliver product outcomes
    Experience working with product and program management to plan, schedule and deliver end products
    Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with engineers, vendors and
    peers
    Ability to mentor team members to enable growth and maximize output
    Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner. Detail oriented and ability to work under pressure of deadlines
    and strong organizational skills
    ~ Candidate to be preferably based in Paris or at a minimum for at least 3 days a week
