    Utiliser des enzymes pour recycler nos produits, mettre au point un bioprocédé pour réduire l'empreinte carbone de nos usines, voilà les défis que vous relèverez en rejoignant Saint-Gobain Research Paris Nous cherchons à renforcer nos compétences dans le domaine des biotechnologies pour explorer des approches nouvelles basées sur l'utilisation du vivant. Au sein d'une équipe tournée vers la chimie verte et biosourcée, vos principales missions seront les suivantes :

  • Développer de nouvelles méthodes pour la mise en œuvre d'agents biologiques (microorganismes et enzymes) et la caractérisation de leur action sur les matériaux, à la fois au laboratoire et dans un contexte industriel.
  • Assurer une veille technologique ciblée.
  • Identifier, mettre en place et suivre des collaborations avec des partenaires extérieurs experts dans le domaine des biotechnologies.
  • Participer au développement de moyens de contrôle des microorganismes pour garantir la protection des matériaux.
  • Restituer les résultats de vos études de manière synthétique et pédagogique.
  • Superviser des techniciens, stagiaires ou apprentis. Vous serez responsable du respect des règles de sécurité, de l'écoresponsabilité de vos démarches de recherche, de la maîtrise des délais et des ressources et de la qualité des résultats fournis dans votre périmètre de recherche. Vous participerez aux démarches de recherche exploratoire de Saint-Gobain Research Paris.

    Using enzymes to recycle our products, implementing bioprocesses to reduce carbon footprint of our production plants,
    these are the main challenges you will face when you join Saint-Gobain Research Paris We are seeking to strengthen our skills in the field of biotechnologies to explore new approaches based on the use of living things. Within a team with main interest in green and biosourced chemistry, your main missions will be the following:

  • Develop innovative methods using biological agents (microorganisms or enzymes) and the characterization of their action on materials. This will be done at laboratory scale and in industrial context.
  • Carry on targeted technological watch.
  • Identify, setup and follow collaborations with external experts in biotechnologies.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to control microorganism growth and guarantee material protection.
  • Share the results of your studies in a synthetic and pedagogical way.
  • Supervise technicians, trainees or apprentices. You will be responsible for compliance with safety rules, for the eco-responsibility of your research procedures, for the management of deadlines and resources and the quality of the results in your area. You will participate to the exploratory research initiatives of Saint-Gobain Research Paris.

  • Doctorat avec une spécialisation en microbiologie et/ou bioprocédés.
  • Intérêt pour appliquer les technologies du vivant aux matériaux.
  • Des compétences dans l'utilisation et la mise en œuvre d'agents biologiques à l'échelle industrielle seraient un plus.
  • Vous êtes une personne créative et innovante avec des capacités à interagir et fédérer autour de vos projets.
  • Bonnes capacités de communication, tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral.
  • La maîtrise de l'anglais est indispensable.

  • Interest in applying biotechnologies to materials.
  • Skills in the use of biological agents at industrial scale will be appreciated.
  • You are creative and innovative, and you have ability to interact and federate around your projects.

  • Fluency in English is required.
