LIGENTEC designs and manufactures Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC) for customers in high-tech areas such as Quantum Technologies, LiDAR, Space Technologies and Biosensors.

To grow our team in our recently opened Paris site, we are looking for a:
Test Engineer in Integrated Photonics

Tasks

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Characterization of Photonic Integrated Circuits with a fully automated wafer level prober
Push the limits of PIC characterization, development of test methods and procedures for highly demanding specifications
Continued performance improvement of the automated wafer level setup, data analysis scripts and measurement procedures
Generate, validate and maintain test programs/scripts for parametric and functional tests of electrooptic photonic integrated circuits.
Tool ownership (uptime, maintenance, repeatability, reproducibility) of wafer level prober and related test equipment.
Execute functional and parametric tests.
Update and continuous improvement of laboratory inventory.
Communication with the process team for timeline adjustments.
Collaborate closely with the swiss testing team, contribute to the improvements of the new testing protocols.
Interface with test equipment vendors and support equipment vendors.
