- Designing, developing, building, and maintaining peptide design pipelines, focusing on structural aspects.
- Maintaining a scientific and technical watch and staying abreast of the state-of-the-art in the fields of protein structure prediction and peptide and protein design, from both global research and industrial perspectives.
- Performing structural analyses of systems of interest (detection of pockets, detailed analysis of protein/protein interfaces, of docking pose, etc.)
- Engaging with other peptide and protein design companies to develop partnerships or to conduct joint projects.
- Ph.D. in computational chemistry, bioinformatics, molecular modeling, structural biology, machine learning
- 2 or more years of experience in protein structure prediction and analysis
- Knowledge of computational chemistry packages and tools, particularly for molecular dynamics, structure prediction and analysis, virtual screening/docking.
- Excellent programming skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal (English mandatory).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and overlapping deadlines.
- Natural ability for problem-solving.

Structural Bioinformatics Scientist – France or Remote

KEMIO are urgently looking for a Bioinformatics Scientist to join a US and European biotech organisation. This role can be based remotely in Europe or close to the site in France, and it will be for an initial 12 month duration with the likelihood of extension.
We are encouraging candidates to apply who are able to start ASAP or latest in June or July. We are open to any industry background but applicants must have a PhD in Bioinformatics and/or extensive work experience in protein design.
For this position we are looking for someone who is experienced in protein design, with hands-on experience with state-of-the-art tools such as AlphaFold, RosettaFold, ProteinMPNN, RFDiffusion (applied to design), and some experience with protein-peptide or protein-protein docking tools. Programming skills are also required.
