- Supporting project deliveries to the CAE Development and Automation team;
- Offering technical support for internal projects related to the development of engineering tools utilizing digital technology;
- Maintaining effective communication with multiple stakeholders simultaneously;
- Nurturing and guiding developers' skills and knowledge across GPC's offices in London, Paris, and potentially the Asia Pacific region;
- Enhancing work methods, internal processes, and procedures to uphold a high standard of tool development quality;
- Assisting CAE managers in expanding awareness of tools and capabilities to global functions.
- Computer Science Degree or equivalent;
- Preferably an Engineering Degree;
- Demonstrated leadership, development experience, and software development proficiency;
- Experience in Software Development using CI/CD processes, build pipelines, familiarity with Azure DevOps, and GIT;
- Proficiency in Cloud-Based Solutions and Architecture, like Azure or AWS;
- Background in Mechanical or Civil Engineering is highly desirable;
- Knowledge of key coding languages such as Python or Javascript is preferred;
- Some exposure to engineering software and the use of HPCs is beneficial.

Overview of the RoleThe Global Projects Centre serves as Subsea 7's center of excellence for executing its largest projects worldwide. The Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) discipline is currently looking for a Senior Developer Specialist to join the Engineering Tools Development and Automation Team. In this role, you will collaborate with various Engineering Departments and global teams, working closely with engineers and developers. Your responsibilities will also involve regular interaction with IT and Digitalization Teams within the Subsea 7 Corporate business.Specific Key Responsibilities & Activities
