    The Global Projects Centre is Subsea 7's centre of excellence for the execution of its largest projects worldwide.

    The Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) discipline is seeking a Senior Developer Specialist who will work alongside the Engineering Tools Development and Automation Team.

    You will be part of the CAE group whose key function is to support Engineering Teams and Projects. You will work closely with various Engineering Departments and global teams alongside engineers and developers.

    A part of your assignment requires regular communication with IT and the Digitilisation Teams within the Subsea 7 Corporate business.

    All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.

    Specific Key Responsibilities & Activities

    You will be responsible for:
    Supporting the delivery of projects coming into CAE Development and Automation team;
    Providing technical support for internal projects in regards to the development of engineering tools making use of digital technology;
    Providing close communication with various stakeholders at any one time;
    Growing, mentoring and guiding developers' skills and knowledge across GPC's various offices, predominantly in London and Paris, and potentially in the Asia Pacific region;
    Support the improvement ways of working, and internal processes and procedures, to maintain a high level of tool development quality;
    Supporting the CAE managers to expand and increase awareness of tools and capabilities to global functions.
    Your profile

    The Job Holder shall possess the following qualifications:
    Computer Science Degree or similar
    Engineering Degree (highly desirable)
    You have leadership and development experience as well as software development;
    Experience in Software Development through CI/CD processes, build pipelines, past knowledge of Azure DevOps and GIT are desired;
    Experience in Cloud Based Solutions and Architecture, such as Azure or AWS;
    Mechanical or Civil Engineering background is highly desired;
    Some experience with engineering softwares and the use HPCs are also desirable.

    Support standards and procedures for the CAE Function

    The Job Holder will be part of the CAE Discipline within GPC West, Design and Analysis Engineering Function.
