    K2 is a luxury event production agency. Founded in 2002 in Asia, the agency has offices in China, Japan, Korea, France, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. It offers unique events including shows, exhibitions, pop-ups, product launches, and immersive brand experiences.

    At K2, we leverage culture and insights to bring brands to life in the right contexts. We create and produce compelling experiences for luxury clients of all kinds. With its multiple offices, K2 is uniquely positioned to offer a global approach to managing brand experiential strategies, from the concept stage to the detailed execution phase.

    We are looking for a Head of Design to join our Paris location and help bring these experiences to life across Europe.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop design concepts and help translate existing luxury brand concepts into new locations.
    • Work closely with the Creative Director and production team to develop and realize design concepts.
    • Create elevated spatial design experiences for luxury clientele of all kinds.
    • Supervise the creation of renderings and visuals that clearly and accurately communicate designs to clients.
    • Build out client facing decks for design round presentations.
    • Work with the project team and Head of Design in communicating with clients, freelancers, vendors and fabricators.
    • Work closely with the Head of Europe on project budgets and schedules.
    • Technical design and drafting skills with general knowledge and understanding of fabrication techniques and materials.
    • Ability to produce a set of construction drawings for fabrication.
    • Management skills and ability to handle multiple projects at once.
    • Mentor junior and senior designers.

    KEY ATTRIBUTES

    • 8 to 10 years of experience in interior designer, production design or architecture and bachelor's/ master's degree from an accredited school;
    • The ideal candidate is passionate about design, culture & art and has a well-rounded design lens;
    • Detail oriented, organized, and team player;
    • Takes initiative and has the ability to work under tight timelines;
    • Exceptional communication skills including both verbal and visual means of communication.
    • Team spirit;
    • Proficiency in 3D modeling and realistic rendering ability using software such as Rhino, AutoCAD, Enscape or similar as well as the Adobe Creative Suite.

    Permanent position located in our Paris office (8th).
