    About the team

    The team develop various kind of product that comes from gaming to professional DASes (DAS: Direct Attached Storage): main feature is storage, either HDD or SSD, with features such as RAID and drive hot plug. We also design advanced features such as docking, video port, card reader, Network interface and even RGB LEDs. We specify and develop embedded firmware, and handle official certification tasks which ensure quality and compatibility of our designs. We also design host software that configure and control the device, and give user access to the advanced features.

    About the role

    You will be part of the Das Pro FW team and will participate development of future professional DAS products. You will have a main role in the architecture of both firmware and hardware, participate in planning, document, develop and test. You will have a critical role in product definition in collaboration with product leader, software and hardware stakeholders, and even with third party companies in an international environment.

    You will

    • Work with product leader to understand the product, and guide the definition by your technical expertise
    • Design storage product architecture with hardware development team
    • Design the embedded software, as well as host companion software
    • Write comprehensive design specification for internal and third party teams
    • Make rigorous testing of third party firmware deliveries
    • Work on Agile development of all software elements
    • Ensure maximum quality, extensively testing before releasing, applying quality process and continuously try to improve it
    • Use hardware analyzers and being able to perform hardware firmware integration
    • Debug complex issues, in different product environment
    • Work in a cooperative organization along with hardware design and Q/A teams, with day-to-day communications
    • Produce clean and documented deliveries
    • Work in an international environment, with regular written and oral communication in English
    • Travel occasionally for technical meeting abroad

    Your experience includes

    • Experience in making software close to the hardware
    • Experience in embedded software design and development
    • Experience in debugging in a restricted hardware environment
    • Develop in C/C++, shell scripts and more
    • You can easily communicate in English, both oral or written
