    Description

    Our team is seeking a talented and experienced Risk Software Engineer specializing in building cryptocurrency risk systems using C#. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of robust, scalable, and secure trading systems.

    We are looking for a dedicated, methodical, and versatile risk software engineer with the experience and passion to solve tough problems with scalable, high performance code.

    We are looking for a teammate who can thrive in a dynamic environment with competing priorities and approaches. You will work in a team with fellow engineers to create highly scalable, distributed services.

    As a Risk Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cryptocurrency risk infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in C# to create efficient and reliable solutions that enable seamless risk control experiences for our users. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to the growth and success of our platform.

    Responsibilities

    1. Risk System Development:

    Design, implement, and maintain high-performance cryptocurrency risk system using C#.

    Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of the risk infrastructure.

    Work on a world class system for on-chain and off-chain transactions

    Work on our financial accounting reporting and ledgers, high-volume trade processing and reconciliations

    2. Collaboration:

    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend developers, and system architects, to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions.

    3. Optimization:

    Identify and implement optimizations to enhance the performance and efficiency of risk APIs.

    Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.

    4. Security:

    Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard the integrity of the risk platform.

    Stay informed about the latest industry standards and security trends in the cryptocurrency space.

    5. Documentation:

    Create comprehensive and well-structured technical documentation for risk APIs, ensuring ease of use for internal and external developers.

    6. Troubleshooting and Support:

    Collaborate with other engineers, quants and traders to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the risk system. Provide technical support as needed to ensure the smooth functioning of the trading platform.

    Qualifications

    • Commitment to the highest ethical standards while working with sensitive data
    • Knowledge of forex and cross-asset trading fundamentals.
    • Understanding of risk management, portfolio accounting, securities clearing/settlement and regulatory compliance
    • Experience reconciling large disparate data sets
    • Strong development skills and extremely curious about new technologies
    • Experience (personal or professional) working with crypto currencies, examples include: trading digital assets, using crypto platforms, and transferring coins on blockchain.
    • Experience in 3rd party software providers (Murex, Calypso, etc..)
    • Familiarity with cryptocurrency protocols, exchanges, and market data feeds.
    • Proficiency in C# and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
    • Solid experience with API development, including RESTful APIs.
    • Extremely curious about new technologies and passionate about this new era.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
    • Previous experience working in a financial or fintech industry.
