Subsea7 is hiring a
Material Tracker Lead whom would be responsible & accountable for the performance linked to material tracking on GPC East projects.

The role provides management to the material tracker community within the region and interfaces with the projects and relevant key functions for process & tools improvement.


When allocated to a project, the position covers the co-ordination, the tracking and the follow up of all equipment, material & consumables to be used for the Project execution.


All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.

This is a full time staff position based in
Suresnes-Paris

Key Responsibilities & Activities
Function Support

  • Provides leadership and guidance to the Material Tracker community to ensure implementation & standardisation of ways of working,
  • Review & update material tracking guideline as required & available in BMS,
  • Ensure the implementation of and adherence to Subsea 7's Management systems, professional tools, policies, systems and processes,
  • Provide KPIs to measure Performance,
  • Accountable and responsible for the robustness and data integrity delivered by the material trackers on projects,
  • Promote material tracking across projects, functions, region and Subsea7,
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the function and ways of working, liaising with digitalisation and other regions,
  • Support projects and material trackers, as required,
  • Manage and actively participate in the annual review for the team and their direct reports,
Project Support

  • Responsible for the identification and the tracking of all equipment, material & consumables used for and during the Project, throughout its movement from mobilisation to demobilisation locations.

Qualifications

  • Master's degrees in Logistic, Supply chain management or a significant and successful experience in a role of project Material Tracker.
  • Experience in material tracking or logistic (preferably in offshore industry including logistic coordination with very good knowledge of importation / exportation process and knowledge of international air/sea freight).
  • Preferably, experience of West Africa environment.
  • Preferably, experience in Oil and Gas business.
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Proficient in speaking and reading English mandatory,
  • Very good knowledge of standard office software
