About the role:

We are currently looking for a System Engineer to support, optimize and improve the Veepee's System Infrastructure within Logistics Team. You will be required to maintain the WMS infrastructure in an operational condition.

Location:

This is a fulltime position based in Lyon, France (Wojo Part-Dieu) but we are flexible with other locations provided you are willing to travel to Lyon on an occasional basis.

Your responsibilities include:

To maintain in operational conditions the Warehouse Management System infrastructure;
To analyse, resolve performance or scalability anomalies;
To develop and maintain operational support documentation for your pair;
To take care of Linux and Windows servers deployment and administration;
To automate daily actions or a global infrastructure;
To ensure a good monitoring and alerting coverage;
Being an evangelist of DevOps' good practices;
To provide level 3 support for area of expertise;

What you bring:

At least 3 years of experience in a similar function;
Strong troubleshooting skills;
General knowledge of industrialization processes : GitOps and DevOps practices;

Experience or knowledge in:

Automating deployment and maintenance with IaC : Ansible and Terraform;
Know how to Monitor systems with Prometheus;
Skills in Virtualization (KVM, VMware) & Containerization (Docker);
Industrialization processes, agile methods, gitflow flow and DevOps practices in general and understanding of a system side;
SUP: ELK, Prometheus and APM;
With Docker, Kubernetes.

Languages:

Fluency in both English and French (written & oral) is required.

Nice to have:

Experience or knowledge in:

Different types of DB such as PostgreSQL or Oracle;
Production experience on physical infrastructure;
Languages such as Python or Go;
Linux,
Windows;

About you:

You are enthusiastic, motivated and naturally curious, you want to learn and improve Veepee's System infrastructure;
Understand that boring and timeconsuming tasks could/must be industrialized;
Have a sharp analytical mind and able to reproduce the information in a synthetic way and be a force of proposals.
