Research Intern - Finance

Hire type: 6 months, Fixed Term Contract

Role Overview:
Midcap is a division of the European arm of TP ICAP, listed on the London Stock Exchange.

We are looking to expand our dedicated team of professionals, and would like to find someone to compliment the analysts and researchers who ensure that our clients' needs are met, and we maintain the highest professional standards.

This role will join the team as an intern, focused on (but not limited to):

  • Working within the research department, supporting a team of analysts, you will participate in the following missions:
  • Participate in meetings to present the results of listed companies;
  • Writing postmeeting reports;
  • Financial modelling;
  • Sector research
  • In support of Corporate Access, you will be occasionally asked to:
  • Contribute to the mailing of office publications;
  • Managing marketing events (Conferences, Investor lunches, Trade shows, etc.).
Your Profile

You are a Master's student with a specialisation in finance, ideally with relevant work experience in a similar environment. You also have an understanding of company financial statements and the composition of Microsoft Office Pack's. You must be fluent in English, and first-hand experience of Bloomberg/FactSet would be a plus.
