- Defining purchasing needs based on demand and stock strategy
- Planning production requirements based on demand, order book, inventory, and inventory strategy, taking into account industrial, development, commercial, and logistical constraints.
- Committing production quantities accordingly.
- Supply planning:
- Developing and periodically sharing a 'firm' and/or provisional phased production plan with production units.
- Coordinating and overseeing the implementation of the production plan.
- Regularly reviewing industrial constraints considering available supplier capacity.
- Notifying and explaining any deviations from the original production plan.
- Responsible purchasing practices (FLA):
- Working closely with the Salomon Global Sustainability Team to ensure continuous enhancement of responsible purchasing practices.
- Collaborating with the Amer Sports Global Sourcing Vendor Sustainability team for quarterly business assessments and training/capacity building (at least once a year).
- Adhering to negotiated lead times and balanced annual capacities to promote responsible purchasing practices as specified in the Responsible Sourcing Policy.
- Process orientation: Anticipating the need for new processes and necessary implementations.
- Communication: Reformulating information using simple words, clear articulation, and good negotiation skills.
- Collaboration: Working with partners to enhance performance and share best practices.
- Customer focus: Prioritizing customers in decision-making processes.
- Proficiency in Pack Office (advanced Excel).
- Experience with business software (ERP, etc.).
- Knowledge of database management.
- Languages: English proficient, Fluency in French.

Job Description
The main goal of the job is to define purchasing needs based on demand and stock strategy, as well as plan production to meet customer service and stock objectives while considering financial and industrial constraints set in the industrial and commercial plan.
The perfect candidate will be responsible for:
The Supply planner will be tasked with upholding Fair Labor Association's Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing across the supply chain
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to formalize processes and workflows, map processes, and create scenarios for testing. Pedagogical skills to train the business on new processes and tools are essential. Effective translation of business requirements from suppliers for internal teams is crucial for success in the role.
The key competencies needed for this position include:
The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in logistics or purchasing, or a Bachelor's degree with - years of professional experience in a similar role.
