Description
An exciting opportunity to join a leading international renewable energy developer & IPP company as Director of Project Development / Country Manager in France.
Role : Remote working
Your Responsibility
1. Identify prospective projects with suitable renewable energy resources, electric transmission access, and adequate site characteristics in Renewable energies
2. Create and manage project development budgets and estimates
3. Responsible for the control of country and project budgets
4. Establish and manage relationships with stakeholders, including elected officials, regulators, utilities, RTOs, and community leaders, to support project development
5. Negotiation and management of Developer ́s Contracts
6. Work with internal resources, such as the Project Development, Legal, Engineering, Project Finance and EPC teams
7. Obtain land surface rights to design, permit, construct, operate, and maintain renewable energy projects
8. Manage state, federal, and regional permitting of Renewables energy facilities
9. Participate in interconnection agreement negotiations
10. Manage environmental studies
11. Oversee the preparation of proposals that are submitted to utilities
12. Support the financial analysis and modeling of the project
13. Provide reports to management by producing regular and frequent pipeline updates, project status updates, and other reporting documents
14. Research energy market and competition on an ongoing basis
15. Communicate information continuously and effectively to cross-functional team
16. To build up the project development team in Renewable energies
17. To handle the business from scratch, from greenfield to operational phases by coordinating the different teams
18. To be fully responsible for the P&L in the country
Our Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in business, Laws, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
2. 10+ years of progressively responsible project management/business development experience in the energy industry
3. Team player with effective communication skills
4. Pro-active, hands-on and driven attitude towards work
5. Previous experience in a multi-cultural environment preferred
6. Willing and able to travel
