- Be the growth engine of the Retail Global Industry Unit, actively prospecting and identifying high-value potential clients.
- Conduct thorough market research to uncover prospective targets for the Oracle Retail Platform.
- Develop creative lead generation strategies, utilize cold calling, networking and social selling.
- Qualify leads, uncover pain points and demonstrate how our solutions can impact their Retail Operations.
- Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
- Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application.
- Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
- Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers at targeted accounts.
- You will be responsible of the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales whilst growing existing Retail accounts.
- Handling strategic accounts and relationships across the team.
- Drive Pipeline development through customer visits, campaigns, collaboration with other Oracle LOBs and Partners.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure coverage within the designated territory.
- Engage with Customers to position Oracle Retail solutions through strategic value-based selling, case definition, return on investment analysis, references and analyst data.
- Accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting to the senior management.
- Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings.
- Build long term strong relationship in the market with key stakeholders.
- Minimum of 5 – 7 plus years of full cycle software selling experience in a new business development role (experience selling applications to retail industry is a big plus).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions to prospective and existing customers in Fashion, luxury, grocery, electronics and hardlines sector.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment.
5 years field sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience. Selling experience in Retail is a big advantage. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
