    Chief Risk Officer (Dubai based or Remote)

    Puffy is a rapidly expanding e-commerce retailer known for our exceptional mattresses beloved by millions of sleepers in North America. Since entering the bed-in-a-box market in 2016, we have consistently achieved year-on-year growth and received recognition from top publications such as and TechCompanyNews. Our product line now includes a comprehensive range of bedroom essentials, including pillows, bedding, and accessories.

    We are seeking a seasoned Chief Risk Officer with over 15 years of experience to oversee our risk management operations within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge from working within hedge funds and handling multi-asset classes, which is essential for driving our strategic financial initiatives. The role will work with an experienced Chief Investment Officer with decades of experience in global hedge funds.

    This position can be based either at our Dubai headquarters, which includes an attractive relocation package and visa sponsorship, or completely remote from your home country. Our Dubai headquarters is located in the world's safest and most globally connected city, with the added benefit of 0% income tax. Your compensation package will depend on whether you are working from our Dubai office or remotely.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management policies and procedures.
    • Oversee and manage risks associated with investment strategies.
    • Analyze and report on financial risks related to multi-asset class investments. Equities, credit, and options.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align risk management strategies with company objectives.

    Required skills/experience:

    • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in risk management, preferably in hedge funds.
    • Strong understanding of various asset classes and financial markets.
    • Proven track record of building and running risk models.
    • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
    • Masters or PhD from a top school or university.
    • Proficiency in C++ or Python.
