  • Responsibilities

    Within the Indirect Purchasing Department, you will be able to intervene in different supplier markets and actively participate in the development of the Purchasing Department.

    As such, your main missions will be:

  • Manage calls for tenders on various Purchasing categories through all stages of a Purchasing project: the collection of internal needs, the drafting, the publication, the analysis of offers, the negotiation, the contractualization, the internal communication and up to the deployment
  • Support the transformation of Indirect Procurement such as the new Oracle ERP and support the of internal customers
  • Collaborate, support, and influence throughout the P2P process, from purchase requisition to negotiation to purchase order. The ERP will allow the buyer to validate the purchase request in a purchase order and thus manage the purchasing policy through the tool.
  • Identify and implement procurement opportunities in general and on sustainable development
  • Assess the compliance and performance of our suppliers via our internal tendering tools
  • Participation in monthly meetings and animation of the Group Purchasing network (18 countries)
  • Execute tenders, as well as qualification and selection of suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance of processes and policies.
  • Gather specifications for products and services required by business lines.
  • Drafting contracts and negotiating with suppliers in coordination with legal counsel and internal stakeholders.
  • Market and expense analysis.
  • Identify and anticipate problems in project execution, identify and implement solutions, escalate as needed.
  • Identify risks and escalate them to the manager.
  • Track defined risk mitigation actions and processes.
  • Manage issues with suppliers, periodically monitor supplier agreements and evaluation, including monitoring supplier performance.
  • Support in the development of the Group Purchasing Plan.
  • Propose and lead improvements in procurement, processes and policies.
  • Profile:

    You have a Master 2 degree with a specialization in Purchasing.

    With a minimum of 5 years of experience.

    Ability to manage purchases in project mode

    Project Purchasing Skills:

  • Leadership as a project manager for tender management. You are known for; Your communication skills , ease in leading meetings, quickly developing skills on new types of purchasing, your autonomy and your rigor
  • Know how to adapt your oral communication and written presentation (ppt) for both employees and management
  • High level of negotiation skills on cost, quality, deadline and contract aspects
  • Sense of organization and coordination
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize complex tasks in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and responsiveness
  • Autonomy in the management of categories
  • Customer-oriented and people with very good interpersonal skills
  • Open-mindedness, flexibility, agility and ability to adapt to new environments
  • Team spirit and is ready to do rather than do in order to make the best progress on purchasing projects in accordance with the defined retro-planning
  • Results-oriented
  • Analytical and synthesis skills
  • You are proficient in the Office Suite software (in particular Excel and Power Point) and ideally a Procurement Sourcing platform (Jaegger/Bravo solutions is a plus) and an ERP such as SAP / Oracle.

    Fluency in English with the ability to conduct business conversations and influence stakeholders at all levels.
